Another crummy article.
How old was he?
How long did he play in the NFL?
How many concussions?
Any drug arrests?
Any other health problems?
Why were the police called to ‘check up’ on him?
How do these people get/keep their jobs as a writer?
Almost all articles are crummy these days. The local ones are the worst. I would have failed English if I wrote the crap these local journalist’s write that don’t answer even the most basic questions.
That’s why I slouch in a recliner instead of a couch.

VJ was 38 years old, playing 9 years total, 5 with the Chargers and 4 with the Buccaneers. No drug arrests, no known health problems (other than alcoholism), police were called regarding him as missing person. The police department spoke with him, and rescinded the missing person alert. As with most football players, the number of concussions they suffered while playing is an unknown.
