A CVS in Ipswich, Massachusetts, gave a 'limited number of patients' the wrong dose of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine on Monday
Patients were given a 0.3 mililiter (mL) dose, 40% lower than the correct 0.5 mL dose recommended by CDC
Doctors and the CDC say that as long a patient's first shot is a half-dose, or 0.25 mL, they will be fully protected once they receive a second dose
As of Thursday, 41 million Americans - 12.5% of the population - have received one dose and 16.1 million - 4.9% of the population - are fully immunized

The racial makeup of the town was 97.60% White (per Wikipedia). Per WBUR, 65.3% of the residents voted for Biden. Guilty white privileged liberal community? They would have no problem having Joe’s booming illegal population come into the town, right?
0.3 + 0.3 = 1 ! 😁
If a half dose is sufficient as long as it is followed by a full second dose, why are we giving more in the first dose?
Huh?? “[The] CDC say that as long a patient’s first shot is a half-dose, or 0.25 mL, they will be fully protected once they receive a second dose”
Then why are we giving full first doses to anybody? We could stretch the supply a lot further if everybody got a half-dose first shot.
It’s actually a maybe. Article says they don’t have enough data on the lower dosage yet, but early results seem like it might be good enough.
The Biden voters may already have illegals working as gardeners and maids.
Lefties love having underpaid smiling brown faces who pretend to be happy in order to avoid being deported.
Yes, what you said. I think that taking racism out of math meant that at least 2 possible answers could be offered for any problem. And maybe instead of needing 2 actual doses, maybe the answer is “1 or 2 could be correct”, so who really knows?

Logical questions like that one make Dr. Fauci angry. And you wouldn’t like Dr. Fauci when he’s angry.
Got caught in a classic skimming scam ... highly college educated health care professionals using the common core math concept of group consensus of math computations .... group consensus is that .3 is the correct answer.
OOPS!!! It’s just a vaccine thank God.
Questions by citizen pissants aren’t welcome.
Does it make one wonder if the second dose is too large, too?
And Pennsylvania gave 40,000 second doses when they were supposed to give first doses.
Biden * should get all the credit for vaccine rollout.
1. why is this only in a UK magazine (again)?
2. anyone want to bet there was a financial reason to this??
Probaly ex drug dealer exmployees who were using to cutting the product to sell more.
It makes me wonder if I haven't been right all along in not believing anything told to me by anyone!
We have been given nothing but misinformation, disinformation, massaged statistics and outright lies by politicians, the medical community, the media and the "experts" here at FR for a year now.
It was “mostly the correct dose”.
My 80-year-old mother believes that hydroxychloroquine is poison, because "Fauci said so" according to her watching MSNBC.
I don't know if Fauci ever said such a thing, but I can easily believe that her mind has been poisoned by the MSNBC coverage, and that she's so confused by the many fake news stories that have been beamed into her for the last four years.
The one ray of hope is that she's not ready to take the vaccine because she doesn't trust it.
This is science we are dealing with here.
If you irritate the scientists they have a thousand ways of getting back at you... ;-)
