I think you’re correct. Otherwise the death of 15,000 in the NY state nursing homes would have been buried as a story.
For Cuomo, the cold calculus of killing 15,000 people was worth it to deny an iota of positive press for President Trump’s actions such as providing the 1,000 bed Navy hospital ship, which went unused by Cuomo.
