Woke Politics: The Democrats’ Plan for a Permanent Majority
American Thinker ^ | 17 Feb, 2021 | William Levin

There it is, hiding in plain sight: An astonishing six-part plan to make America into a one-party state.

With the 2020 election in the rear-view mirror, it is timely to focus on election politics for 2022 and beyond. The first step is pattern recognition: The Democrats are pursuing a multi-prong strategy to cement a permanent majority. To accomplish the goal requires upending the constitutional design. Until the scope of this effort is seen in its entirety, it can proceed in the shadows.

It has six astonishing elements:

i. Enable Congress to determine who can run for President,

ii. Eliminate the Electoral College without amending the Constitution,

iii. Override the states' constitutionally mandated authority to determine presidential election rules,

iv. Grant statehood to the District of Columbia by statute,

v. Rewrite the First Amendment to limit political speech, and

vi. Enable open border immigration through executive agreement instead of Congressional action.

Taken together, the program represents a comprehensive challenge to representative democracy. It deserves to be understood and debated front and center. Who Can Run for President?

So long as you are thirty-five, a natural-born citizen and a 14-year resident, it is the birthright of every American to aspire to the nation’s highest elective office. The right extends even to one-term presidents. Notwithstanding the recent acquittal, Democrats claim as a principle that the President, former or sitting, can be disqualified from seeking the presidency if convicted upon impeachment or barred from office under the 14th Amendment for inciting insurrection.

This is dangerous overreach. For impeachment, disqualification by Congress extends only to “any office of honor, trust or profit,” which limits disqualification to offices created or regulated pursuant to federal statute, and hence does not include the President.

Mitch McCon-all and the GOP wing of the Uniparty vulture are lusting over the carcass of the American Eagle.

“Hopefully that will result in pain and suffering until we get it through rump Republican’s heads that their beloved GOP is dead. It may take two or three cycles to convince you bone head rumpers.”

by that time our Republic will be dead. It’s well on the way this very moment. People of your politically naive ilk will place the final nail in the coffin.

There is no time safe way to freedom. The GOP is killing our chances for freedom. We need it to die quickly.

Donating to, supporting the GOP, or not, is so far beside the point now, it’s delusional.

So is going to the polls.

The Dems stole the election from an extremely popular and successful President. They have the executive and the legislature, and they have gotten away with cheating.

But you think if enough of us get behind a party and go vote, things will change?

Nothing short of an uprising, i.e. a revolution, is going to get us back to the America we knew, and almost no one is willing to participate in that.

No one’s even talking about the last election now. It’s all about that horrid violence at the Capitol which must never happen again because nothing is worse than violence. If you believe that, turn in the guns, lie down and wait for the mob who find violence highly effective and stealing highly profitable. They probably don’t need more than their uniforms at this point.

“We need it to die quickly.”

It won’t be quickly, my FRiend. The Dems are working this very minute to change our country at warp speed. If we don’t win the mid-term elections, we are in ever deeper doo doo. And the people in this country, including you, will suffer greatly. Remember, half of our nation will remain either liberal or wishy washy and will be easily swayed by the propagandist MSM. Our days of freedom are growing short.

No, watching a fake party like the Republicans is worse than no party at all. Let it die so something good can take its place. I can’t play the game anymore. I will probably vote Democrat in 22 just to get rid of my RINO Representative.

That’s sick, and you are no conservative. Go over the DU (Dem Underground) website, where you belong.

The Electoral College system is this nation’s protection that the President is elected pursuant to representative democracy, not a popular vote. That choice is enshrined in the Constitution and can be changed only through the amendment process. In practice, it prevents a handful of cities, in a small number of states, from effectively determining the outcome of the presidential election.

Hmmm, something rings familiar there but I just can't place it (said the lying liars who accuse us of spreading "The Big Lie"). Disposing of the Electoral College will save them all that frantic labor of producing enough false ballots to overturn an election in the wee hours of morning. Or provide redundancy as extra insurance.
