Rather than rename the whole airport, they should’ve just renamed the exercise room.
What a turd.

Well, you can rename an airport but can you make the name ‘stick’ with the public?
BWI (Baltimore Washington International) has been renamed for the late Thurgood Marshall for many years. People still call it ‘BWI’ everyday.

Telling the world you lack character by renaming your busy airport after a corrupt, despicable, cheap, partisan politician is ridiculous. Certainty makes me want to go there less.

We can thank Reid giving us the Supreme Court seats and judiciary tilt right. His corrupt end of the filibuster let us get a lot of judges through the senate in four years.

McCarran, a Democrat, was the author of the 1938 Civil Aeronautics Act, which established the federal government’s role in overseeing aviation by regulating airline fares and investigating accidents.IOW, McCarran actually had something to do with developing the commercial aviation industry albeit not as much as Howard Hughes, another famous Nevada resident.
Reid's major historical accomplishment was blowing up the filibuster rule.
