You’re either going to get the vaccine or the virus. Eventually, you’re going to get one or the other. This virus is just that transmissible. So you’re gonna have to pick your poison.
Puke virus hit in school last week. Went through like wildfire. Too fast to quarantine and stop the spread though. I think our quick response in cleaning everything helped though. That was very contagious! But this Covid stuff is slooowwwwwww. One adult one week, another two weeks later, another a month later, a cluster over Christmas break, none, one a month later.
My poison is the virus. I am also 99% sure I had it last February. Along with the group of guys I worked with. We all got sick with a “weird respiratory” illness in January & February. Right when a guy can back from vacation in Hawaii. He had pneumonia-like illness, but was negative for pneumonia.
I felt kind of like glass was in my lungs for 2-3 days. That was it.
Wrong. I will not get either one.
I possess an incredibly powerful immune system, especially considering that I was a very sickly child.
I have a non-fatal congenital heart defect, but I haven’t had the flu in fifteen years. Last Spring, I contracted Strep Throat, but I attribute that to the fact that I underwent a major Oral surgery.
There is absolutely no chance that I will contract the Chinese virus. Even if I did, I wouldn’t even get sick.
I fail to see why I should get a hastily concocted vaccine for a little virus that I will never have. Also, if we will still be forced to wear the hateful muzzles and are still required to quarantine, why bother taking the vaccine?
I refuse to change my way of life for a virus with a survival rate of over 99%.
Since it’s about as FAR from poison as a virus can be, I’ll take my chances.
I’ve known 80 year olds that beat it with a few days’ rest
