Interesting your daily regimen.of which my own is somewhat similar. As to vitamin D; I asked Doctor to check level along with the annual comprehensive panel. I had been taking 2500iu daily for 6+ months. My BMI is 25. Result was my D level was 30...ok, but I had expected higher. I’ve doubled it to 5000 day for the last month and will test again after a full 90 days. Goal is to be >40. So healthy me who never was taking D supplements was D deficient. I’m a walker, swimmer, golfer and am in the sun most of the year. Everyone should know their D level.
“Everyone should know their D level.”
Exactly. So why do we lay people have to be the only ones posting about it? Not a peep from our FR MD contingent.
My level is 80+ btw. Over 70 or 75 has anti-cancer effects, IIRC. Make sure you take vit K2-MK7 with the D3.
Best to consult with a professional who knows the correct amounts.
Eating HFCS interferes with vitamin D benefits. If one is ill, it is really important to cut back on stuff with the HFCS.
I just got in from hand shoveling my long driveway. We’ve at least 6” from the winter storm and some drifts are over 1 ft. here in SE Michigan. Fresh cool air feels good and it is still snowing. I did take a couple of breaks sitting down in my garage for a few minutes. It’s a good thing that I am in pretty good shape at 70. I just didn’t want to wake up to a bigger pile of snow in the morning.
/ to bed. Prolly get up at 3 or 4 in the morning and hit it again.
oh, and that was after helping my son do his long driveway.
it’s good to feel healthy. (i could go of a heart attack in the middle of the night. life has been super for me.). The entire family was over for my daughter’s 39th birthday and I’m 2 years out from having a brain tumor removed. every day until the end is a blessing.
