Watching aging rock stars strut around the stage in their 50s and 60s (at $200+ a pop for a ticket) just never appealed to me. I like to see live music with artists still in their prime.

Don't get me wrong, I love listening to their catalogs, but have no desire to see them perform live. I go out on the YouTube to catch them when they were in their prime.

The one good thing about you tube is watching musicians when they were in their prime!

LOL.

Speaking of aging rock stars, I haven’t heard about the Stones recently. But I think Mick Jagger must be pushing 80. And they were still doing shows in recent years. I can only imagine he and people like him have some incredible physical regimen, to still be strutting around like that.

A few years ago I went and saw Smokey Robinson and Martha Reeves and a few other artists. Smokey was ok but Martha should have retired some time ago. The show wasn’t great but since it was free I couldn’t complain too much.
