My belief for quite a while is that they do want the Civil War.
Do they think they can win? For the people pulling the strings, I don’t think that really matters. They want the death. They want the destructions. They want to ruin the country. If the Left ends up on top at the end of it all, I suppose they think that would be a nice. But I don’t think they care. I really don’t. If this is mostly coming from China, all they really want is for us to thoroughly screw ourselves over. That’s the goal.
They want our government to be like Sweden and Finland. But it can’t be.
I believe that the Capital invasion was a "false Flag" incident, made to provoke a Dim legislative reaction.
There were indications of a large group of peaceful demonstrators, but the hostility was led by a para-military violent mob of AntiFa actors dressed in pro-Trump camouflage.
Despite that fact that no weapons were found on any of the 'invaders'
the Dim reaction of over-reach legislation, fencing around the Capital topped by razor wire, and thousands of national Guard troops demonstrates their mentality.
The invasion of the Capital was only the excuse for over-reach
but essentially, this is a conspiracy coordinated 'coup' that is guarded and preserved by the military presence.

Democrats learned an important lesson during the Great Depression. The country was in economic ruins but they got elected and those who did lived pretty well, as did the few Republican Quislings. FDR ran out country like modern day Venezuela and were it not for WW2 we might still be living ‘The New Deal”.
My fear is the obvious parallels between China and that of pre-WW2 Germany.
Simple? Can’t you see it? They will push and push until they make things so intolerable states start to pull out of the Union and they will swoop in and crush it—use the “Rebellion” to change the laws, take away the guns and usher in a Peoples Utopia. Biden will have war powers to end the Republic as we know it. All for 100 years of Total Democrat Control. The goal is to get what they want. BUT, they may have overstepped—The break away states may not be so easy to overcome. What if Texas seizes the Nukes and threatens to use them on The Federalists? You can bet The Federalist blue states will have Chinese support, even Troops to “Put down the Racist, Homophobic Rebels” You can almost see how CNN will cover it.
I think that the Chinese have been heavily involved with the political left here in the USA since Clinton and maybe before. I think the left is fascinated with the power of the Chinese leaders and think they can share it even if it means teaming with the Chinese and against the US citizen opposition. The US politicians don’t realize that after the Chinese help them load citizens on the metaphorical “railroad car to a vacation” that the last few open spots will be for them.
Look at all the riots we've had since this summer. Look at all the shutdowns. Look at all the 'stay at home' and mask mandates. They already started a civil war. Our side just hasn't fought back yet.
