The boy was being tortured by his stepfather), Timothy Wilson, (with permission of the mother), including being hung upside down with straps on ankles and neck and beaten with various objects including a broom handle and fists. Also staved. The five people who intervened were the waitress, the owner who told her to call 911, the 911 dispatcher who notified the police, and the two polices who arrived, interview the boy and sent him to the hospital. The police chief said they saved the boy’s life.

So sad! There has been an increase of child abuse b/c of the lockdown - “us” teachers are mandated reporters and surely someone at the school would have seen the bruising, etc., and reported it (that is if he attended school at all, public or otherwise).

With the lockdown, the kid is more vulnerable and chances are lessened that anyone would see the bruising and other trauma that was inflicted upon this poor child.

This is not uncommon in child abuse scenarios - mother’s boyfriend (or new husband) abusing previous children with the full knowledge of the mother - she does it to “keep her man.”

Thanks for the update. That kid will need years of therapy to
deal with the violence and terror he was subjected to.

Anyone else wondering if the local social services/CPS/cops had been to that home before...
