After the age of 6, your IQ doesn’t change much. If IQ scores are getting lower, it has nothing to do with “dumbing down.” You can take a person with an average IQ of 100, and he will never figure out how to do 8th grade math by himself. Dumbing down has to do with ineffective education.

Phi Beta Kappan article about nuclear fallout and s a t test scores.

This is real data with real graphs. The great conspiracy is to let us all die and depopulate the earth. For reasons we are not allowed to understand.

Well with all the money that’s dumped into early education by parents I find that hard to believe. Many of these young millennials, with their first children bring on nannies. A few families I have seen they are incredibly invested in teaching the children before age 5. I cannot and won’t speak to daycare for kids, because that is truly a hit/miss scenario.

But, as you read that first comment take note of what is missing. A very important key component, the parents! We have surrendered education to others who may or may not be teaching a curriculum that leads to better logic and intelligence.

Point two: Children do not play. All play, a form of imagination and discovery, is highly supervised and controlled. The overprotection has lead to a lack of development in the brain. Same could be said for the everybody wins mentality. It affects intelligence because it fails the child by forcing them not to think about other ways to do better.

Point three: Smart devices. While useful tools, they do not create the cognitive synopsizes the lead to improved IQ. While we do not clearly understand why, but writing out words, doing math by hand instead of typing it into the computer, having a ruler and practice really using it, etc. these tactile functions are critical to life long intelligence development.

Sure pollution likely has had an affect on the genes, but western countries are clearly cleaner. So it has to come down to what we, as a society, focus on for our children.
