yeah.. Intermittently always has been. But the 1984 Reagan blowout is a good place to start because that was a “true” gauge of the American temperament. That Mondale was a moderate Democrat is even MORE telling. No UniParty on the scene yet.

Since 1984 electronic balloting has been implemented making wholesale fraud much easier.

Part of turning a Red state Purple is using local city elections that result in creating a social climate conducive (”hot spots”) to fraud and intimidation to complete the conversion of a state from Purple to Blue.

Trump won by a 1984 Reagan blowout -but the MASSIVE fraud enabled by the UniParty and which enables the UniParty have negated honest elections in the USA

Commies will be commies. It’s literally that simple.

the best response..is for We the People to become aggressive activist in our local electoral precincts. starting this week

The media from this point forward is dead. New forms of lateral-horizontal communications are here to stay and these empower us all.

These forms of communication make possible the networks we can create to be effective activists in cleaning up local precincts. We can network all our local resources in real time as needed-from local law enforcement to local legal help to local electoral awareness of the problems

The U.S. will not turn around from its decline until Demonicrats start to be tried, convicted, and sentenced for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

That will never happen as long as the current crop of GOP leadership holds office.

They cannot muster the nerve to do to the Democrats what they do to Republicans. Republican leadership talks big, but they always cave at the last minute.

And keeping a massive standing army surrounding Capitol Hill magnifies their communist takeover.

We must still deal with the facts as they currently stand. Today’s media has long tentacles, dug in deep into the psyche of many Americans. Add to that the education system (tomorrows voters) are subjected to a relentless barrage of Leftist nonsense, but more, are conditioned to shut down (by whatever means necessary) opposing viewpoints.

Yes, WE, can effectively communicate our ideas one to another. The fear is that, in time we will be the only ones that know those ideas even exist. We will be relegated to the status of strangers in our own land.

Excellent!
Bipartisan = not political, wherein both sides are divided on a given issue.
This was explicitly partisan with a few cowards from the other side whimpering about going along to get along.
They compromised to be part of the club.

“Sunlight,” Justice Louis Brandeis famously wrote, “is said to be the best of disinfectants.” It’s an alluring notion – that transparency and free access to information will root out corruption and malfeasance in government.

“One mechanism by which transparency can have a cleansing impact in democratic regimes is by giving voters the information they need to eject dishonest or incompetent politicians. This includes information on the politicians themselves – it should raise suspicions if a politician, earning an official salary of a few thousand dollars a year, is discovered to be living in a million dollar mansion and driving a Mercedes.”

https://voxdev.org/topic/institutions-political-economy/sunlight-disinfectant-disclosure-requirements-and-corruption-india

thats from India.BTW..and the closing line of the article is VERY relevant..

“sunlight may be an effective disinfectant. But citizen action is required to make the sun shine”

We will be governed by the UniParty...or by the Constitution subordinate to We the People. There is no provision allowing peaceful coexistence. Those of choosing the Constitution have a road marked by the rule of law. Those choosing the UniParty will be choosing the way of Stalin and Mao. The former is indeed a struggle, but the latter is lethal.

"But it beats the heck outta the alternatives -which are bearing down like a runaway freight train"

I would prefer the more peaceful alternative. If it is even possible anymore.

Disagree with title. Could be the start of a good chapter in America.

I am hoping that the voters send Pelosi and Schumer packing.

They can't The Dominion voting company will keep them in power.

The left must burn and pay for their traitorous actions.

America must not stand down.

“Sunlight,” Justice Louis Brandeis famously wrote, “is said to be the best of disinfectants.”

Right now, many Americans are living in the shade of a dishonest media. The check and balance they (the press) were intended to provide is now signing checks for the Left and leaving America with a zero balance when it comes to all things freedom - freedom of speech, freedom of the press (that would provide necessary counter-points), free and fair elections. You know, the freedoms that have uniquely distinguished America as that sole shining city on a hill.

On fox news saturday night, a news tart stated that this was the most bipartisan impeachment vote in history, willfully ignorant of the Andrew Johnson impeachment vote which fell short of conviction by a single vote. Talk about gaslighting.

The decision was acquittal. The acquittal vote was NOT bipartisan. Therefore the decision was not bipartisan. The media should learn what words mean and not use them in simply any way they feel like.

In America, trials are meant to ascertain facts in a neutral setting and, if necessary, meet mete out reasonable punishment.

Was the author absent that day in 7th-grade English?
