A 21-year-old Portland woman pleaded guilty this week to charges related to a fire set at the Multnomah County Justice Center during a September protest-turned-riot.
Hannah Karin Lilly was ordered to perform community service and pay $46,000 in restitution for “unlawfully, with intent, aiding and abetting 21-year-old Cyan Bass in damaging the Multnomah County Justice Center” in downtown Portland, the county’s District Attorney’s Office said in a statement Thursday.
Bass has pleaded not guilty to a series of charges. His trial is pending.
Lilly, who moved back to Portland last year to live with relatives during the pandemic and works as a part-time nanny, received 18 months of probation for one count of first-degree criminal mischief. She also pleaded guilty to a single count of arson in the first degree. She will be sentenced later for the arson charge.
The terms of her probation put restrictions on her right to attend demonstrations.
“The resolution of this case takes into account Lilly’s culpability to the actual damage done to the Multnomah County Justice Center and Lilly’s lack of criminal history prior to this incident,” the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office said.

There’s nothing in this article that explains WHAT she did
She pleaded guilty to arson, but the article doesn’t specify what exactly she did.
All terrorists should be locked up for a long time. Political arson is terrorism. I’d be okay with anything from a decade behind bars to life in prison. Definitely not mere probation for violent terrorists.
And in liberal land community service means they can volunteer for their favorite liberal candidates election campaign.
If she was connected I doubt she would have assisted vandalizing and burning a (Portland-Leftist) government building or received a $46k fine on her mother’s property.
I believe she has zero chance of getting a government job anytime, anywhere. She assisted vandalizing and burning a (Portland-Leftist) government building.
