Sen. Lindsey Graham said he’ll be meeting with former President Donald Trump in the coming weeks to talk about the future of the Republican Party.
The South Carolina Republican said Friday evening that he plans to encourage Trump to work with Republicans to ensure that they take back the House and the Senate in 2022.
“I'm going to try and convince him that we can't get there without you, but you can't keep the Trump movement going without the GOP united,” Graham said. “If we come back in 2022, then, it's an affirmation of your policies. But if we lose again in 2022, the narrative is going to continue that not only you lost the White House, but the Republican Party is in a bad spot
Trump has made it clear that he plans to remain active in Republican politics. He’s threatened to primary Republicans who don’t stand with him, including Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.), and is mulling a potential run for president again in 2024.
“Trump's got to work with everybody,” Graham said. “You got to put your best team on the field. If it's about revenge and going after people you don't like, we're going to have a problem. If this is about putting your best team on the field, we've got a decent chance at coming back.”

The script from the elites is that the Republicans are to retake Congress in 2022. The plan is to rig the primaries so the RINOs win. Now they want Trump to play along like a stooge and raise money for this farce. Until we have honest elections, nothing will change. It will be the same old show all over again.

1,369,137 South Carolinians voted to retain Lindsey Graham as their senator. They had an opportunity to get rid of him once and for all and they failed. The same people who voted for Graham think the Republican party can be reformed. Now we’re stuck with Lindsey Graham, Mitch McConnell, Susan Collins, Ben Sasse, Joni Ernst and other RINOs for six more years. The Republican party will never be reformed.

One must be absolutely, completely, inalterably 100% in support of President Trump, no matter what he does, even if it is wrong or contradictory to morals or conservative. There must be absolute loyalty to the leader under this current absolutist system with no room for dissent or difference of opinion. People like Pence, and Graham, if they veer away even if just a bit, are to be ostracized and attacked—or maybe even worse.

I must protest though that the arts of politics were very limited for an outsider like Trump.

He won’t listen I’m confident of that.

He would not have been re-elected without the Media flying as his wingman.
Graham has a whole category of responses that are for Public Consumption only and he can forget it as soon as he says it.

Splitting the conservative vote is a staple of GOPe politics in primaries.
Lindsey has always been a snake. He was a snake when he sucked up to McCain and he is still a snake. Trump helped him win his last election. He would have been out without that AND the money Trump supporters sent him. Didn’t take him five minutes to stick a knife in Trumps back. Like I said, the guy is a snake.

For just one glaring instance: opposition to Trump’s efforts to reform the GOP is very dominant.
