So this does not match either conspiracy theory, the one were there was vote switching programmed into the machines nor the one in the Lindell video where Chinese hackers simply deleted votes.
According to this, it is completely consistent with a conspiracy theory because the software was proven to be easily hackable, and there was no reason to be using such old machines and software:

The article states...
The AccuVote-TS machine we studied is vulnerable to attacks that steal votes from one candidate and give them to another. That's not what happened which is why I pointed out that it was important that the democrat lost votes too. Also this error appeared in a single district. It's almost certainly some sort of user error.
