four doors is two too many in the hotrod scene and resale market...

I don't think so. At least not with these older rods (1920s-30s). They're cool in all their variations. Definitely would be the case though with '55-57 Chevys and most other post-40s cars.

all older cars are cool in their own way and there will always be an appreciation for them but a four door hotrod no matter what year will not bring as much money as a two door hotrod will...

Definitely! Also a coupe is way cooler than the sedan. Give me a slightly chopped 33 or 34 5-window coupe and I’d be in one of my very few perfect dream cars.
