I’ve noticed quite a few people I would normally consider “solid” conservative republicans that seem to all of a sudden flip to the dark side. I would not have considered Nikki Haley to have done this, and I have to wonder if one of these situations applies:
1. “Compromised” in some way and has to do this sort of seemingly turncoat behavior (blackmailed). Maybe they’ve paid money at one of their elections to have someone skew it their way and now an excrement to blowing air event is working their way?
2. Playing their part in the Great Charade of the past three months according to directions from white hats, and expecting to be given a Trump Award and clear pardon once the movie is over?
3. Tired of all of this dragging out and just had too much to drink?
Haley has always been a weak sister/licked finger in the wind type of dishonest politician. Her nasty criticism of President Trump doesn’t surprise me.
Haley is just maneuvering for her own political future. She’s read the tea leaves wrong!
We should also not focus on Haley’s recent statements but WHY these came about.
She was being shopped around by [Graham?] to big Pubbie donors as a viable candidate.
In the eyes of conservatives, that smacks of over-ambition and self-absorption.
Qualities enough to disqualify her as a USA-first kinda person.
As soon as Nikki Haley ceased to be ambassador to the UN, she started trashing Trump. So this is nothing new to her.
they want us to shut up about Trump. Ain’t going to happen. They’re going to find the voters looking at them with a jaundiced eye. A dim view. We take a dim view to those that run down PTrump. Because what’s the point of voting? Any repugnican they allow to run is controlled oppo. A vote for a repug is a vote to continue this charade of a system.
