Y'all are tougher than me.
I do not mind living in Texas with no a/c. But end of last winter, Feb or Mar?, the downstairs central heat went out. That's living room, kitchen, dining, office, guestroom and a bathroom. Upstairs is only master suite and grandkid bedroom has a small unit but heat don't sink to downstairs. It's 28 now and I'm staying in my glassed in sunporch which I use as a winter greenhouse. I have 2 small ceramic heaters to keep tropical plants from freezing. Got an electric blanket over me, 2 crocheted afghans. cup of coffee and I might be grouchy. Supposed to get down to +1 degree Sunday, +8 on Monday. I will probably need to excuse myself to keep from going full on female b-word dog. I am ready for hot Texas summer.
