its called culling the population....quite a few might have to sacrifice their insulin..of cut back the amount they take...just to save money to replace the money they didn’t get when they lost their jobs...

Type 1 is not like dieting where you cut back insulin. If you have high glucose numbers the number determines how much you take. If you don’t have any or not enough then it’s time for a trip to the ER. DKA will kill you quickly otherwise.

That’s not even possible for Type 1 diabetics, who are already following low carb diets. Type II can sometimes do quite a bit with diet changes.
