I feel for the families who can’t afford the increase in costs and who are losing their jobs.

Me too. I wonder where that lady is from. If anyone could find a Federally Qualified Health Center that has a pharmacy they could and would help with that insulin cost.

The payment rate is based on the current income. The lowest rate for a Dr. visit in ours is $15 for a Dr. Visit vs $250 for the community at large.

Meds can cost as little as 15 bucks for a month supply depending on what is qualifications are met. Some one earning twice the poverty rate would still get a discount. For example a Rx costing 160 bucks for 20 bucks.

We have about 26 FQHCs in Mo. Since our county is a designated poverty area, we have one right here in town.
