I have a tendency to put on weight. That tendency involves anything sweet, starchy, chocolate, and any and all combinations of food and drink that I know full well will put on the pounds that I do not need. I have tried every diet, and some pills, as well as fasting, and it all work until I relapsed into former bad habits. I finally accepted that I could not overeat and had to limit the sweet stuff if I wanted to maintain my preferred weight. I have always liked to walk and swim etc. but overeating still put weight on. I realized that I never had to be hungry but I simply had to eat a nutritious meal and limit the high calorie stuff. It is a matter of discipline and forethought and I have a few things, like weighing every morning, that remind me of when I am headed in the wrong direction. Everybody has to work out their own method, and routine, of staying fit and healthy and it is not all that hard. For me, overeating is definetly the reason I put on weight. Sigh!

There are some products out there that that can help. They are diabetic friendly, keto friendly snacks that if you are in a pinch and need something sweet, they won’t spike your blood sugar which can trigger more cravings.
I agree, about working out. That has been a life saving for me, mentally and physically.
