Won’t be long before only leftists will be able to afford ,and allowed, to own cars....
“Carbon fiber” also known as plastic.
So, what is the sticker on one of these?
Are they a limited edition car that we are going to be seeing only at the Barrett Jackson auctions?
I want one.
Holding out for the 75 volt version.
I can see it already. Speed limits based on how strong the wind is blowing, or how sunny it’s been. “I’m sorry, sir, but you were exceeding the 25 MPH speed limit automatically imposed when average wind speed at the wind farm location nearest your home dropped below 18 MPH. Here’s your ticket.” “$500.00?!? WTH?”
As I understand it, they took the best of reliability parts from the Shelby/racing parts pin, aka Diff, Trans-Cooler, etc without the Flat-Plane Crank Engine. Reliability / 24 hr endurance platform is what we are looking at.....
I’ll take the one on the left in white. OMG that’s a beautiful car.
My son bought a brand new Mustang six speed manual a few years ago. It was pretty awesome. But then he traded it in on a BMW M4. He doesn’t even take the Mustangs seriously any more. The BMW is at a completely different level. I’ve been in both. Truth be told, I don’t even LIKE BMW’s. I think they are overpriced, but holy cow is this thing awesome compared to the old Mustang.
Oh, and he REALLY thinks my FR-S is a toy. :)
That just looks like the old one to me.
Don’t like it, no louvers on the rear window.
No thanks. Bought a brand new 2006 Stang and it lived up to the name First On Repair Day. Not buying another.
Weary of the “angry face” look.
I rented a 50 anniversary red convertible in Birmingham AL and drove to Mississippi. Very nice car. The light under the side mirrors projected a running horse on the pavement next to the doors. very cool.
Meh.
The Hoonicorn on the other hand — that’s an awesome Mustang! Made of unobtainium, requires a full time crew to keep it running, and you have got to have a neck the size of a large oak tree’s trunk to handle the Gs, but what an incredible machine it is.
Not bad but hey’ve smoothed away some of that great overbite.
Really? Antimatter doesn't need batteries, it needs crystalized multi-axis dilithium!
When I was growing up (’79-80ish) my step father had in the garage a mint condition 1969 Mach 1 Mustang 351 with 600 miles on it. Wide wheels in the back. The engine had been balance and blue printed then painted black. With chrome headers and valve covers.
It as the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen.
Today I have an eco-boost Mustang and I really like it. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. It cruises at 100+ in a very smooth ride.
Pretty exciting to see a new Mach 1
