Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was so sure of that outcome that he says he personally told Trump that this trial is still going nowhere. That would make me nervous.

All part of the effort to keep Trump from bringing-up the election fraud. Apparently it is working.

Hey Grey-ham, go f*ck yourself
I want CHARGES and ARRESTS for those shredding ballots before the 22 month requirement, thereby making the ability to PROVE the vote impossible
I also want CHARGES and ARRESTS for those taking money from CHINA to use their voting machines

"Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND), who called this "the stupidest week in the Senate,""Yeah... that's about right.
But at least any time they're wasting on this farce isn't being spent spending our great grandchildren's future or taking away more rights.

They’ll convict him. They’re thug crooks. They wouldn’t waste their time not knowing the outcome. It’s a done deal.

Kangaroo court. If Democrats can unilaterally choose the “judge” from one of their own, and can initiate a bill of attainder against a private citizen charging the designated defendant for the “crime” of exercising enumerated rights, they can decide by simple majority vote to change the rules to a simple majority sufficient for conviction.
Fascists.

So by holding the trial now they are blowing their shot to keep Trump from running again in 2024. He will return stronger than ever.

It don't matter one whit whether “performance” of the Trump lawyers “knocked the ball out of the ballpark “ or not.
The whole trial is unconstitutional, irrelevant and immaterial. You simply can't impeach someone that is already out of office. That was already established by the US Senate in the sham impeachment of Belknap in 1876.
This sham trial is of no consequence whatsoever.
Period.
That's why I never even bothered to watch even one second of it.

the stupidest week in the SenateEmbarrassing. Hopefully nobody eve again refers to this Senate as the world's greatest deliberative body. It's a circus, that's what it is.

Hi.
By some Chucky Schumer miracle, former president Trump is convicted of something.
If you, in the Senate of the U.S. punish citizen Trump, that Will not only be expost facto law, it would also be a bill of attainder.
No Constitution, no problem. Muskets are the remedy. Or C4.

I keep hearing that there are not enough votes to convict, but with this group of sponeless people, anything is possible. All that is needed is a few more like Cassidy who is apparently incapable of reasoning for himself instead of falling for a hyped, lying presentation. Again, anything ispossible.
