Changing the rules of a game right before it’s played normally inspires skepticism, if not cynicism. But a new Time magazine report celebrates a well-funded effort to change voting processes and the flow of political information before the 2020 elections.
Time’s Molly Ball happily describes a “conspiracy” among the progressive left, big labor, big business and the Washington establishment to counter Donald Trump and suppress unwanted elements of U.S. political conversation before and after Election Day.
Like the various actors she describes at the heart of this vast campaign, Ms. Ball presents it as a virtuous effort to protect democracy from Mr. Trump and Covid-19. The participants in the conspiracy alleged by Ms. Ball certainly seem to have influenced the outcome. She writes:
Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears.
She later adds that “the participants want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream–a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information. They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it.”
Many voters are bound to disagree. And even those who don’t may still want a dispassionate review of the various changes to U.S. voting in 2020 and a consideration of their impact.

The coup,(the real “insurrection” in DC) and the “impeachment” is because Donald Trump upended THE largest, multi-trillion dollar industry in America. The selling of American Congressional Legislation. The primary industry in DC.
THE issue that binds Red and Blue together in the UniParty is the issue of electoral fraud.Its why certain precincts have voted Red or Blue for over 100 years. Its the means by which Congress and K St lobbyists can guarantee “product delivery” to interests that pay enough.
Various “intelligence agencies” are the enforcement arm. Prolly different ones (there are 17 of them afterall!) supporting different “service lines”
Its mutually assured destruction if either side starts to betray the long-standing inter-generational process.
Whenever the issue starts to bubble too close to the surface we all start getting entertained with “pizza parties” and “SRA” issues/trafficking stories etc.-and other Red-Blue “trigger issues” intended to distract us-but these are only incidental to the business at hand-the selling of the votes and legislation of the most powerful legislative body in the world.
These “trigger issues” are intended to remove our eyes from what is going on right before our very eyes! These “trigger issues” are the stick the Deep State uses to marshal the votes they need to deliver product.
The contemporary information-digital communications technology has the ability to put an end to all of this -which is why the “information war” on the American electorate. Why “us” versus “them” is finally crystallizing.
Its why they barricaded Capitol Hill. In all probability it is why they will convict PDJT in the Senate
They are bragging.
They know the election was rigged.
Unions are a big nothing because only 6% of the US work force is in a union down from 35% in the 1950s. Yesterdays war...
The Big Steal was BIPARTISAN.
As was the Kenyanesian Usurpation.
As is the illegal alien inundation.
Don't worry though, they tell me the plan is to rehabilitate and "take back" the GOP. LOL..
Let this be a lesson to GOP voters.
Your party helped the Democrats cheat your President out of office.

C’mon man!!! Is that a serious question? If you disenfranchise 75,000,000 taxpayers ...can there be ANYTHING good in that?
all these voting laws that were changed were done so illegally as the Constitution says that only state legislatures can change voting laws, no Attorney’s General, Governors, or county election board people. These changes weren’t made because of the virus, that’s just an excuse. People who can go out to shop or go to work can also go out and vote in person. The changes were also not made to help Trump get more votes, the changes were made to facilitate voter fraud designed to defeat Trump and install a senile old sock puppet.
The fact that this is a question up for debate for the WSJ and not simply that it was bad for the country says a lot.
It’s all about power. Power to be obtained by any means necessary and kept at all costs.

This would imply that the coup is complete and these minions of Communist Hell have no fear that it will be overturned, especially be the many millions of gun owners who have no organization and no leadership.

GA Gov, SOS, Lt Gov, AG, all Republicans.
AZ, same thing and the Maricopa County board, 4 Republicans one Democrat, is fighting the state Senate to keep the ballots and machines from being examined.
Legislatures in AZ, PA, MI, WI, GA, all Republicans who let a fraudulent election stand.
