Agree. I've been to The Villages (it's actually closer to Ocala than Orlando). Quiet and unassuming place, but with TONS of shops.As I said in my OP my Aunt and Uncle have lived there for many years. We've stayed there with them a few times. We go swimming in one of their gazillion pools. My Uncle keeps stats for one of their golf leagues. My Aunt used to be a town council member and was active in the Republican party there. It's a lovely place to retire and this is nothing but a hit piece.
