“Considering how Covid spread on cruise ships even when people were quarantined in their rooms, I cannot imagine anybody in their right mind taking a cruise.”

Hey, I got my Covid after a cruise to Cozumel Jan 2020. It put me in the hospital for 12 days. While there I had a heart attack and received a quad bypass. But I want to return to cruising ASAP, with no restrictions, k? So the cruise lines got -that- going for them....

WOW! If you got covid from cruise in January 2020, I must have got attacked by the virus on the Carnival cruise ending on Feb 29th 2020. I had a strange dry cough for about 2 weeks after disembarking. Covid was not much in news then. So I thought nothing of it. My body fought it off, and probably acquired some immunity. Been to 100+ visits to restaurants and stores since March with not even a cold. Restaurants in Florida never closed. Florida is inundated with tourists from other states seeking freedom.

Death rate in Florida from covid is lower than 24 other states. Go figure.
