I have never seen my beloved Chiefs out-coached, out-played, out-thought as badly as they were last night. Yeah Brady was good, but the lion’s share of the credit has to go to the coaches and the defense. They put together and executed a heck of a game plan.
Interesting that the Bucs went unbeaten since they lost to the Chiefs in Week 13, they won their last 8 games.
No question that Brady’s successful luring of Antonio Brown to Tampa was the difference maker. Even the biggest misfit will behave when Brady is on their team.
Several hours after the game was officially over, a U-Haul van showed up with several buckets of touchdowns for the Kansas City Football Team. These were mailed-in touchdowns, some scored by deceased persons such as Lamar Hunt and Derrick Thomas. Well here's some interesting stats on Belichick.
Before Brady, his coaching record was 41-55 (.427) over six seasons (and only one season with more wins than losses).
Over the next 19 seasons (with Brady), Belichick's coaching record improved to 232-72 (.763) with ZERO losing seasons.
In his first year without Brady, Belichick returned to another typical losing season 7-9 (.437)
I see a lot of folks here saying Brady should retire. I think they are telling the wrong guy to retire!
Looks like we’re going to start seeing in the NFL what has been happening in the NBA.
High-Profile quarterbacks moving to new teams, and recruiting other players to join them. Stafford is already doing that in LA. I wouldn’t be surprised if Dak Prescott makes a move and tries to do the same. In a few years, I suspect Mahomes may do the same.
But still Mahomes throw Accurate bullets while basically in the air and there were too many drops, along with incredible pressure like you said and great, great play by Tampa Bay.
It’s funny to watch Brady though, where he steps a little this way and that to keep himself from being in that situation, even where the pass protection gets compromised.
You could see though that the Bucs had a lot broader talent, and were able to execute a lot more of the simple plays. Brady hasn’t had that luxury in years, especially with the quality of downfield pass catchers.
But this new emphasis on racial and gender harmony, and the idea that all people can live together in wondrous joy is so far from what we experience day to day, that it has become a parody.
As for the game, it looked to me that the Chiefs were unable to get into any sort of groove. It was probably a combination of a better prepared Bucs team and the inability of the Chiefs to adjust to the loss of two of their starting linemen. Throughout the game, the Bucs played with confidence while the Chiefs were stressed, even though they scored first.
That’s poor advertising unless whites don’t watch TV.
If aliens monitored ad broadcasting, they’d infer that humans reproduce sexually by black men getting together with white women, and white men getting together with black women.
Asians reproduce asexually, since they don’t apparently breed at all in commercials. Hispanics don’t either, but they do drink Modelo and relish hand-to-hand combat, especially among their women.
I don’t believe Mahomes finished his degree from my alma mater but I could be wrong. He left after three years.
That’s like saying the Lions were a top tier team but Stafford (top tier QB) never got protection.
I’ll check on Rams occasionally, hope he gets prot there and gets the wins he deserved, like Verlander, Scherzer and others who got free from Detroit’s incompetent sports teams.
Tampa bay is set for a few years.
They’ll need to replace Fornette, as he is genuinely getting to that RB cliff, but most of their guys are young guys.
As for NE, they had I think it was 9 starters not play this year over COVID concerns, and lost Edelman mid-season. They had a running back for QB, a mid-talent WR, a couple of good RBs, no TEs, and half an offensive line. Not to mention that apparently two weeks they played games without practices and had several others curtailed.
Compare also, that over the last 5 years, Tampa Bay had the equivalent of 13 extra 1st rounders compared to New England, based on the draft value chart. Teams aren’t supposed to be able to overcome that.

Yeah, it was kind of a weird season, it’s hard to say how things would have gone in a normal season, with packed stadiums, and full rosters. It was kind of a glorified exhibition season.
Despite the fact that Tampa is my local team, I continue to take a knee on the NFL. What was the final score?

That’s funny. I had remarked to my lady that we were seeing a majority of the world’s gay black men all at one time on the same football field. Now you tell me that some of them were white? I’m disappointed!
