Isn’t that the same stuff as in foam insulation? That stuff just does not come off. I got some of that on a t shirt I wear when doing chores. It has been through the wash dozens of time and it is still there.

Spray foam. Oh, yeah. That stuff is forever. Nasty stuff if you get it on clothing. You’re right. That is also a polyurethane.

Yes it is.

No solvent will dissolve either spray foam or gorilla glue once it cures. After it cures the only way to remove it is to either scrape it off or burn it off (don’t breathe the fumes if you do).

Today I finally scraped off some of that horrible spray foam insulation from the floor. I didn’t have acetone handy and underestimated its ability to harden and be impervious to removal.
