I think Mr. Plummer termed the classic 60s movie "sappy," and "The Sound of Mucus"

I'll remember his portrayal of Klingon General Chang in Star Trek VI, who is mostly heard spouting Shakespeare… He played it campy (which old Trek was noted for) and it was hilarious! He'll be missed – RIP

As I recall he preferred Shakespeare in the original Klingon.

He was in a ton of things, one that I was forced to endure was a TV rendering of the old kids book Madeline about a girls school in Paris run by nuns. He was the narrator and my daughter, for a time, was head over heels in love with that show so I heard his voice a lot. He did a nice job reading the intentionally silly material with a touch of seriousness coupled with whimsy that helped elevate it. He was just good at what he did.
