“There is no political, military, or terrorist threat to that flow.”

I guess Biden shutting down the pipeline which was producing 880MMB per day into Nebraska and a FirstCoast News Network guesstimate the job loss to as many as 88K jobs, plus the support companies, is definitely damaging and political.

Canada can sell their oil where ever they want. And with Biden damaging the contractual basis with Canada on oil receipt, there aren’t enough trucks to do what is needed, Canada can now sell their oil to anyone to include setting themselves up as one of the US competitors in exporting.

They may do so just to balance the loss of jobs and profit. Canada can produce it...we can’t move it. It’s a free market and I don’t blame them. But the libs in our country are going down the road of energy changes and where does that leave Canada’s oil production. In the sand unless they go after a new market. And why should they subsidize a market in the US they are competing with that is drying up?

Canada looks south for markets, always has, always will.

That said if we had any kind of leadership, there would be pipelines running east and west out of the tar sands, Canada would have no energy taxes and the cheapest energy in the world.

Much like the US, we have no political leadership.
