There you go again.

Reagan did it better.

My 'suggestion' was that SMITH changed HIS mind; since I am going so far to say that Joseph never heard from Him at all.

It's too bad that the explanation of GOD changing His mind has drawn Him as One who Threatens, but doesn't deliver.

Doctines and Covenants section 132:54

And I command mine handmaid, Emma Smith, to abide and acleave unto my servant Joseph, and to none else. But if she will not abide this commandment she shall be bdestroyed, saith the Lord; for I am the Lord thy God, and will destroy her if she abide not in my law.

Oh; WAIT!

That sounds like SMITH doing the threatening and giving GOD the blame for it!

It’s too bad that the explanation of GOD changing His mind has drawn Him as One who Threatens, but doesn’t deliver.

...and speaking of threatening.

Jonah and the whale, but it’s really about Jonah and Nineveh.

Ema Smith lived a lot longer than Joseph and only God knows her heart we certainly don’t stand in judgement and if there are questions, there will be answers.
