Okay, even in this dollar inflated age, that is still some coin.
What bothers me most is when local pols risk prison for a few thousand bucks.
I’m an honest man. I tell shopkeepers or servers if they under-charged me.
But, I am imperfect. I have a price. I don’t know what it is, but it is out there somewhere and nobody so far has offered it.
Peanuts compared to most “white collar” crimes that are rarely pursued/prosecuted. The more one steals, it seems the punishment is less especially if one is connected to a political crime family or party.
