Everyone please see this thread about AF1. There is so much wrong info flying around. We need to be equipped with the facts. This thread has lots of good pictures to help explain.

Allow me to man-splaining there is nothing weird or nefarious about the plane that Biden boarded.

First off a definition of Air Force One:

There are FOUR different unclassified planes fully equipped to accommodate the President. One or another or all could be used as a decoy. Any and all may be up at the same time the President travels.

The 2 Boeing 747s are the big planes.

These two highly customized Boeing 747-200B series aircraft, which carry the tail codes 28000 and 29000. The Air Force designation for the aircraft is VC-25A.

The smaller plane is the 757 which may actually carry the VP as AF2, but is used by the President for smaller runways. This plane is easily identifiable by the folded wing tips.

These two carry the tail numbers 90015 and 90016.

When Trump (still POTUS) left JBAndrews, 3 of these aircraft (maybe all 4) were in the approach lanes.
IIRC, he boarded 29000.

Only if it’s Air Force, right? If he was flying on a Navy plane it would be Navy 1, correct?
