In Chicago's crowded neighborhoods people dig the snow out on the street for their own private parking spots. This is euphemistically called "dibs" and spots are often staked out with old chairs, signs or whatever. Oft times it comes to "disrespect" of dibs which in turn leads to...gunfire!😎 (Democrats hate each other anyhow in the big cities!)

I’ve seen that done in NYC, and other cities, including here in York (PA). Most people respect it; those who don’t get flat tires, or worse.
