It would obviously add another level of government, but perhaps that might work because as you stated...our country is very, very diverse now and the existing fed gov one size fits all for domestic issues isn't working anymore.

Its a federal government project. And that is why it is so messed up.
But nothing is preventing those states from taking it over and going on with it. All they have to do is join up and do it.

Pretty much everything that comes out of washington, dc is unconstitutional. They can read in the US constitution into the law and list the enumerated powers delegated therein, then anything coming out of the stink pot DC outside of the those powers is null and void.
I love that, I hope they are successful! And other states, like Tennessee, take it up.
I sometimes wonder if I made a mistake choosing to escape the Tennessee. Just because where you are, there are a lot of rebellious people that won’t tolerate communism. I did drive through your state and Idaho, that was just drop dead gorgeous. I just didn’t know if I could handle the winters.

Gum up the process. Request forms you do not need or intend to use, OVER AND OVER. File requests for hearings en masse and then just don’t show up... 70+ million people can REALLY create a headache for a fake government. Get creative.
the us government is required to send you voluminous amounts of information at your request. FREE of charge. Let me let you in on a little secret. They don’t have the money, the manpower, or paper to fulfill that promise to 70+ million people who truly approach their “promises” as “genuine”.
When I was a kid, in grade school, they raised the price of the school lunch. Maybe 10 cents more.
A boycott started. Within a month, not one kid was buying lunch.
Panic set in. The Lunch staff would be laid off if this continued. The Principle called in the company that produced the lunches. Their spokesman got on stage in front of four hundred kids. He actually ate a raw ham burger in front of us to prove how safe and nutritious the food was!
Within days, all resistance faded, and we went back to 300 lunched sold every day.
Well...therein lies the problem. The children were in charge of the boycott and were the ones to ultimately give in. ;)
