Vanity with a purpose.
Andrew Wilkow is great. Erick Erickson is a douche!
Met Andrew in 2009 at the tea party banquet in D.C.
...when we was all Freepin' at the Freeper's ball.
Andrew should be on the radar. Stein is ok.
How about Wilkow’s brother, Roger?
I don't know.........Why doesn't Rush like broccoli?
Wilkow is under contract with Sirius XM Patriot
Wilkow is generally a good listen and a talented guy who is interesting.
I have thought about the depressing idea of a successor for Rush and concluded that there is nobody who is likely to sustain the audience that Rush built. It does not mean that conservative talk radio will die and I am sure the carrier will make every effort to keep the audience, but it will not be possible to sustain the ratings of a show built solely on the musings of one incredible man by finding the next “Rush”.
The advent and widespread popularity of podcasts means that most dittoheads already have a list of preferred shows other than Rush. The options have never been greater for “talk radio” and I rarely listen to the radio in my car anymore.
You like “broccoli”?
Can’t say that I’ve heard of her. Of course there was a time when i never heard of Rush either.
I hate Roger.
me too. looking at this book on my shelf.
Why, we have our very own NEXTRUSH right here on FR.
You should check out his amazing blogs.

No...I don’t like beets either
They are ON at the SAME TIME!, geesh.
Thanks HG
I really like and support Andrew.
As far as I know, he’s never sub’d for Rush.
...but I can’t think of anyone more qualified.
Thanks for the link. I wasn’t thinking that way though.
Maybe, I’m just in denial.
God Bless.
Oh Ann!
No one will replace Rush. Perchance someone may succeed him.
My preference is to shut down the EIB network and depart in a hail of glory.
Rush Limbaugh simply redefined AM radio and truly built the powerhouse that is now conservative talk radio. There are so many really good talkers that by closing the mighty EIB, stations will have the opportunity to choose one of many excellent syndicated talkers and have true competition.
Driving for three hours and simply changing stations to hear the same host will be gone but that will be OK.
Oh please don’t tell me Erickson has been subbing for Rush these days and that’s not just an offhanded comment.
Maybe this is a cruel admission, but I let my 24/7 subscription lapse due to the fact that he’s out so many days during treatments. Stein is a very solid sub, but he’s no Rush.
If I thought that he needed the money, I’d sign up again, but I usually buy in bulk to save with 2 year subscriptions, usually after my sub expires and he offers a heavy discount to restart. Two years seems extremely optimistic for a guy with stage 4 lung cancer. Of course, I hope I’m wrong.
I listened to him during the Obama days, he really took it to the O and I enjoyed it.
Mike Church went wobbly on me during the 2012 election, I then decided there wasn’t enough reason to keep paying Sirius.
Turns out Church was right, I have to eat that crow over that one (no, Romney wasn’t my choice but I got in line).
I’ve heard him sound weak but I’m listening today and he sounds great. Strong and articulate. I think that the show is treatment for him. It refills his energy supplies ... so to speak.
Stein is ok.

Don’t know him. But I do think Mark Steyn is excellent.
Mark Davis. Music historian. Positive and upbeat. Loves everybody. I’m surprised he wasn’t the WH press secretary once. He could start every press conference with one of those prayers the left hates. I don’t care much for them either but if it fries the left-LOL.
