I’ve inherited a number of silver sets. One, I will never part with, no matter what the spot price.
As for the other three, I should’ve asked Santa for a Smelting Kit for Christmas! ;)

In silverware, not so much, ever since the war on drugs was "declared" lost. Burgled and melted down, it's no longer as big a factor.
