False hysteria has been spread about covid from day one that we knew about it. The virus doesn’t cause the dramatic hysterical panic and over reaction. The hype and deliberate fear porn has caused that which led to a very hasty “vaccine” that we have very little knowledge about.
People should listen to all opinions before deciding to get the vaccine. I do not think anyone should be shamed or mocked for not trusting or wanting it. To tell someone with a different opinion than yours that they are spreading false info is kind of like Twitter shutting people down because an opinion that differs from yours cannot be heard because only you are right.
Truth is we do not know long term effects of this “vaccine” because it hasn’t been around long enough . Anyone who is not suspicious about how covid emerged and why there are those wanting to force a vaccine on people is not alert.
I know that you stated that people that want it should get it. I tend to agree with that. I do believe they should study all opinions first.
Just now the truth is coming out about HCQ. It was lied about for political reasons and the people who were denied it might have lived if it wasn’t for the politics of hating and opposing Trump.
Except that there is not "a" vaccine. In the US alone, there are now THREE vaccines, all different. Your meme collapses because stupid.
Not slamming anyone for not wanting it. I will slam people for spreading false rumor and hysteria. There is a difference between speaking out against patently false claims and stopping opinions contrary to your own.
HCQ? doesn’t work at least on sick people. Its political on both sides. People here think it is an absolute miracle cause Trump said. That is as bad as those who ban it because Trump said. I hope some day rational discourse can return to this nation and this board
I agree with you. I have posted before that I am agnostic about the vaccines and I am in no hurry to receive it. Differences of opinion and the right to express and debate them used to be taken for granted. What makes things different now is the fear and hype about the virus leading people to demand that everyone receive the vaccine or be disqualified from working, shopping, receiving an education, visiting loved ones, ad infinitum. For more than a decade, the “duty” to protect everyone from the slightest risk has encouraged a segue from “should” to “must” in the exercise of government power. You must purchase government health insurance. You must forego peanuts. You must forego homemade snacks at the schools. You must recycle, even if it is useless. You must drive an electric car and you must not use gasoline-powered machines. The vaccine controversy simply ratchets up the usurpation of individual prerogative and freedom.
