Well, Twitter was certainly addictive, and instant for world-news, and great for a short-attention span. But it was frenetic.

I’m re-finding FR decidedly relaxed and frenzy-free.

Welcome back to the sanity of a well-moderated forum. FR is my primary news site these days, in part because it's simple, fast, and doesn't scream at me the way the other social network sites do. I check out a few other news sites and aggregators (Register, SlashDot, Google News, etc.), but I always start here.

I have a FB account from a decade ago that I haven't touched in 5 years. No Twitter, Instagram, anything. They annoy and sicken me.
