It is a pet peeve of mine when women are forced into shearing their hair for movie or TV roles. Yuck.

that, and public smoking, was a way of emphasizing their breakaway from the patriarchy...

indeed; but for the record, I’m not wild about unrestrained long hair on a woman...a young girl, yeah, but a grown woman should wear her hair in whatever style makes her look good...

I leave it up to them to know what that style is...
