Oh dear. Will this affect the recent purchase of farmland by Bill Gates? Surely he didn’t see this coming.

Did you read this part “by paying farmers NOT to grow food,”

Somehow I think Billy Gates will be okay with this.

Bill just wants to expedite the famine by taking large swarths of farmland out of the equation. I’m sure he’ll get a lot of plaudits by dedicating the land back to Gaia. Who needs food?

I wonder whether all of this is not the slow process of collectivizing land ownership, which is the cornerstone of communism? They can achieve this on one level using climate change advocacy to reduce domestic animals since they are a major cause of CO2 emissions and therefor a danger to the planet. Since they have squeezed out family farms a long time ago in favor of corporate agriculture, now they can wipe out these businesses due to the hazard they pose by their dependence on fossil fuel.

Bill Gates land purchases could fit into this picture because he is removing gigantic sections of land from market which could feasible be used by local communities to grow their own food.

The Gates large purchase of land in Arizona had nothing to do with agricultural production. Instead, he planned to build the community of the future. I think his plans are now on hold.
