They are implying things they do not know as fact in a dishonest manner to support an unporovable point.
If you got as far as college English, and have enough working brain cells to remember what they taught you, this is one of the 20 some odd false arguments, dishonest arguments, that people make.

Among others you are utilizing the “Bandwagon Fallacy” trying to hook people into some “assumed” truth.
You are using assumptions and suggestions as the basis of an argument when there are no facts in evidence to support your cause.
