Don’t believe the monarchy will last much longer. With the rapidly aging of the Queen and Prince Philip, the next in line to the throne will not be able to keep it all together. He’s too “woke”. And the Megxit duo who’ve graced the US with their presence will be the final nail in the coffin to spill secrets in an attempt to drag the whole house of cards down. Too many Brits are tired of the diversity in their country and being deprived while supporting the “immigrants”. Also, having the monarchy now preaching social justice to them (Harry and Meghan while living abroad) is just too much.
William and Catherine and their children are popular, though. I can see the Brits keeping the monarchy because they want to see William become king.
Thank you! I like history and documentaries, and this one is pleasant, a little trip to an easier time.
Never forget we threw these people out of here-twice and if we hadn’t we’d still be their ‘’subjects’’.
We can enjoy their hijinks from a safe distance. The world’s most dysfunctional family and best ongoing soap opera.
Considering what they did to my ancestral people the Irish I don’t find them amusing.
