Someone who does know is Oklahoma representative Markwayne Mullin. He was right there, saw the whole thing, and talked about it the next day before someone got to him and told him to... you know.
What he said was he saw it happened and that the shooter "had no choice".
So maybe someone could catch him getting out of his car or something and ask him about it.
