Same at my store. No “proceed”, no sale.
The QR code launches a web site where you put your name, it can just be Your first name and last initial if you want, And your phone number. You are added to a queue, when it is your turn at the counter, your name is called out, if you don’t answer, you will be called on the phone number you gave, this allows you to shop elsewhere in the store. No other data is gathered, when you have been called, you are deleted from the Queue. It’s nothing more than that, stand in line for 45 minutes or join the queue and walk around, what would you rather do?
If I lived around Flagstaff, I’d check with someone at that store for myself. If the answer were the same, I’d find a better FFL dealer. There are many who’ll transfer after 3 business days after open responses (no proceed or deny), unless your area is saturated with left-leaning managers. ...something I haven’t seen.
I read the NICS “guidelines” and saw that the firearm can be released to the customer after a 3 day delay, counting the day the application was sent. It is still up to the FFL as to whether or not release the firearm to the buyer. The FBI is supposedly still running the check for a total of 90 days, after which the check is dropped. If the FBI does indeed find a good reason that the buyer is not a legal purchaser but has taken possession of said firearm, they submit the case to the ATF to gather up the firearm.
Not so MCF.

Here in Flag, the sign on the door just says to keep your carry gun holstered. Any gun out of a holster is to be in a rug or case, unloaded.
That was my intention the whole time. It never would have left the holster at all. But they said their policy was, “No loaded guns allowed in their store.”
Did they really expect their licensed concealed carrying customers to unload their weapons in the parking lot, toss the rounds in their pockets and stroll in the door?
Im in Arkansas.. so I don’t think there is state wide political pressure.
I’ve been wrong before. This place is still full of leftist garbage.
Just take/direct your trade too Ruff’s........if it’s still a gun shop.
“HOWEVER, my checks only take 20-30 seconds.”
Same for me. My employee is Hispanic, and has a common Spanish name. Could be there are many others with his same name and NICS is trying to sort it out.
Personally, I use another FFL who doesn’t even have a gun store, and I bought my gunz off the internet.
Ruff’s is still here. They were out of the pistol he wants. They were his first choice. Used to buy my BP stuff there. Now I have enough to hold my own 4th of July in perpetuity.
Kewl. Remember when I purchased a new GP-100, 50 rounds each of .357 and .38 Sp. with a 6-pack of Bud from the drive through window on my way to the Winona cinder pits.
Think 3 of my in laws were employed there over the years as well as a few friends. Good old days.
SW has been a disappointment for many years in many, many ways..
Dropped using them years ago and seems like every year I’m vindicated in doing so.
That’s a sensible idea: provide evidence that you may have a psychological unbalance so the powers that be can not only forbid you from further purchases, they can take your property away from you for “instability” problems.
Did you get dropped on your head recently?
Oxygen deprivation from where a face diaper.
It’s not been a drive thru liquor store store for at least 15 years, no drive thru anymore.
I think BassPro/Cabela’s are exorbitant in their pricing of everything FWIW
