They were recorded illegally, that’s why the charges were dropped.Having not followed this case at all, I didn't know that. If the evidence was gathered illegally, it should absolutely be destroyed. It can't be used in a legal setting being 'fruit of the poisoned tree'.
At the same time, I understand the cynicism expressed in many of the posts here. We do, after all, have the best 'justice' that money can buy.
