All the Keystone decision is is a way for Biden to pay back large contributors. Train operators and trucking firms will make a killing hauling the oil that would have flowed through the pipeline. The Green New Deal people apparently aren’t smart enough to analyze cause and effect. Hey! Why not? They were fooled on windmills too. A windmill uses more carbon based energy in its manufacture, transport, installation and operation than it will offset in its lifetime.
The pipeline isn't in service yet, so currently oil is carried via crude oil tanker cars on trains. The people who own those tank cars stood to loose a lot of money once the pipeline came online.
Creepy Joe loves trains, and loves money. So a few bucks from the right railroad owners and viola!
Plan A with the sands-oil was to get it to the gulf region, with the bulk of customers being European. But the sands-oil needed to see normal oil prices up to around $90 to be of any use.
