I stubbed my toe yesterday.
I had a bout of 'Rona last November (sniffles, no headache, no fever, a little fatigued - but certified by the Health Dept. that I had the virus).
So I "survived" both Corona and the stubbed toe!
About as newsworthy!
Regards,

Some years back I had a young fellow (mid-20s) working for me. On two consecutive summers he was struck by lightning while golfing and survived. The second time the lightning strike even set his shoes on fire. The following year he shot and killed by a jealous husband. (true story).

Not as lucky as the Japanese man, a resident of Nagasaki, who was in Hiroshima when the bomb was dropped on it, survived the blast and returned to Nagasaki only to survive the bomb that was dropped on Nagasaki.

There was a park ranger in Virginia who was struck by lightning 7 times during his lifetime. His name was Roy Sullivan and he committed suicide in 1983 at age 71.
