I have been struggling at this keyboard since the "election." I start an article — and the news cycle runs it over like a steamroller. I don't think anyone wants to hear anything very subtle or, if you'll forgive an elitist word, very "nuanced" right now. I don't think anyone needs convincing, either. We are past all that. Neither do I want to contribute to the raging storm of half-truths and conjectures. I try furiously to make sense of what's going on, but the smothering blanket of censorship has already begun to take its toll.
The "mainstream" media were playing around recently with likening the "invasion" of the Capitol building to 9/11. Actually, I am reminded very much of 9/11 — not by the "invasion" itself, but by the tenor of the reaction since.
I remember 9/11, as does nearly everyone who happened to live through it. On that otherwise quiet morning twenty years ago, angry men with a dangerous vision destroyed more than a couple of skyscrapers in lower Manhattan and their tragically unfortunate occupants. They destroyed our comfortable assumptions. They blew up a belief, held so deeply within us that almost no one ever even brought it into consciousness, let alone stated it clearly in words. That belief was:
"This is America. Things will never get too badly out of hand. Except for crime and the occasional miscarriage of justice, we are all quite safe."
When the towers fell, that instantly changed. A normally happy, wise-cracking gentleman in my department looked away with tears in his eyes. "I don't want to see this happen to my grandkids," he choked out. He was a Viet Nam veteran. He didn't want his grandkids to live in the violent world he remembered from his service.

After 9-11 we could not say it was islam. Today we cannot say it is communism.
We were attacked on 9/11, and all knew and acknowledged that.
Election 2020 and last 4 years was an attack on our President by forces within and without this country. Less than 50% do not acknowledge the attack, in fact deny it and accept lying, stealing, violence, law breaking ignoring the Constitution, etc.
They have ignored God and will pay the price in Hell for abortion and multiple other sins.
Good will triumph over evil with the help of God.

Once everyone gets over this shock, we need to get our 73 Million organized for the long fight.

They’re not revolutionaries if they’ve had the path of least resistance cleared for them and allowed to set up shop where they have. They were “cleared in hot” and it’s been burning ever since. They are always going to have their patented delusions of grandeur that they’re something really special. They think way too much of themselves and they need to come to that realization. These are still “the children”, who’ve been under the impression since they could walk, that they are the world and future, god’s gift to man and the genius offspring of the least appreciative generation of Americans ever (but don’t tell them that). However, they are absolutely oblivious to the fact that almost everything they’ve ever thought they did on their own is an illusion and perhaps a cruel joke (rhymes with ‘woke’) as well. This is the result of too much importance being place on mere appearances and not enough on substance. The content of their character(s) has been literally adulterated by liberalism, political correctness, groupthink and self-empathy, which gives them the idea that even their most unrealistic expectations are now within reason just because it is their expectation to have an inalienable right to enjoy the double standards that they are incapable of recognizing in their own reflection(s). Unfortunately, those of us who have been paying close enough attention can only hope to have this band of treacherous miscreants corrected before we bid farewell.
There’s no way of knowing how bad it will get once the internal security apparatus is fleshed out. Life in a Biden/DS police state is a reality. If they decide to Flynn you or me or all of us, what’s to stop them?
And soon, to dare speak of that obscene crime, will become a crime in itself.
At least with 911, we knew that the enemy was a evil foreign ideology and we would rebuild the buildings. There was directed action and hope.
Here an Election was stolen, ballot boxes stuffed, voting laws and rules were changed on a whim,voting machines counted votes as fractions. The Courts turned their heads, walked away, and did nothing. The People lost their voice and lost control of their Govt.
Now we look to the very people who benefit from all the chaos and fraud to actually fix the rules for Elections to restore our faith, like voter-ID, absentee mail in votes etc. They have no motivation other than to pass some watered down perfunctory measures that provide tangible evidence of having done something.
So this is worse than 911, as 911 had directed action to rebuild while this falls into the category of “New Normal.”
To add one last thing. The Election theft was not a mass casualty event like 911. It was more damaging to our continued way of life
The emotional suffering of career politicians and their hordes of arrogant staffers does not weigh heavily on my heart. I have seen too many businesses destroyed, too many honest individuals ruined, and too many broken wretches finished off by Chinese fentanyl shipped across an open border to be overly sympathetic about the political class's sudden angst. Let them tell it to their therapists, whom, by the way, you and I have probably paid for. Let them reap what they have sown. Let them check a little of their privilege this time around.

Extreme involvement in your local precincts and making sure paper balloting on ELECTION DAY, with hand counts and recounts in a transparent fashion and setting with open audit trails available to the general public, among other measures-are key.

The left has focused on corrupting this process-which originates in the deep urban centers. The process is very active presently in Georgia, using Atlanta as its base, the last 2 election cycles. This process is seditious.

The trend right now is to say something very offensive and when you take flak, apologize for it. DONE! In just a day’s time there has been at least 6 idiotic statements - all made by liberals - and backtracking when criticized...some of those people have been FIRED! They don’t care - they said what they wanted to say - got it out there and got the attention. They haven’t changed their tune!
I think a post nuclear detonation is closer. Once the initial discharge does its damage, the lingering effects harm far more outside the blast area with residual radiation that can last long enough to carry for a great distance. And the harm of lingering radiation can last long and be a slow, painful radiation poisoning death.

I have that same constant, heavy, sick feeling in the pit of my stomach, that I had on 9/11, and for a long time afterward. I feel like I’m grieving for a loved one, and I know what that feels like because I’m the last one left of my family.
