This isn’t a “post inauguration” issue.
This is a “post summer of black lynch mob” issue.
This is a result of the communist insurrection that started this summer and was aided and abetted by THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY - including the current VP who supported and encouraged the rioting and looting.
They’re not revolutionaries if they’ve had the path of least resistance cleared for them and allowed to set up shop where they have. They were “cleared in hot” and it’s been burning ever since. They are always going to have their patented delusions of grandeur that they’re something really special. They think way too much of themselves and they need to come to that realization. These are still “the children”, who’ve been under the impression since they could walk, that they are the world and future, god’s gift to man and the genius offspring of the least appreciative generation of Americans ever (but don’t tell them that). However, they are absolutely oblivious to the fact that almost everything they’ve ever thought they did on their own is an illusion and perhaps a cruel joke (rhymes with ‘woke’) as well. This is the result of too much importance being place on mere appearances and not enough on substance. The content of their character(s) has been literally adulterated by liberalism, political correctness, groupthink and self-empathy, which gives them the idea that even their most unrealistic expectations are now within reason just because it is their expectation to have an inalienable right to enjoy the double standards that they are incapable of recognizing in their own reflection(s). Unfortunately, those of us who have been paying close enough attention can only hope to have this band of treacherous miscreants corrected before we bid farewell.
The emotional suffering of career politicians and their hordes of arrogant staffers does not weigh heavily on my heart. I have seen too many businesses destroyed, too many honest individuals ruined, and too many broken wretches finished off by Chinese fentanyl shipped across an open border to be overly sympathetic about the political class's sudden angst. Let them tell it to their therapists, whom, by the way, you and I have probably paid for. Let them reap what they have sown. Let them check a little of their privilege this time around.

The trend right now is to say something very offensive and when you take flak, apologize for it. DONE! In just a day’s time there has been at least 6 idiotic statements - all made by liberals - and backtracking when criticized...some of those people have been FIRED! They don’t care - they said what they wanted to say - got it out there and got the attention. They haven’t changed their tune!
I think a post nuclear detonation is closer. Once the initial discharge does its damage, the lingering effects harm far more outside the blast area with residual radiation that can last long enough to carry for a great distance. And the harm of lingering radiation can last long and be a slow, painful radiation poisoning death.

I have that same constant, heavy, sick feeling in the pit of my stomach, that I had on 9/11, and for a long time afterward. I feel like I’m grieving for a loved one, and I know what that feels like because I’m the last one left of my family.
